3 Vibrations in One?
We’ve heard about it: a whole body vibration machine that creates 3 types of vibration movements in just 1 machine (orbital, oscillating and vibra-oscillating vibration). You’ve asked us, so here’s what we think: in general, all-in-one type of machines are convenient, but they almost always don’t do any one of those things GREAT. A great example is a video camera and a still photo camera. If you want great video, the fact of the matter is you need to buy a good camcorder. And if you want great pictures, you shouldn’t rely on your camcorder’s camera abilities to take them! Sacrifices are always made and any one function is not as good as it would be if the machine or product specialized in it alone.
That is one of the main reasons why we’re not too sure about these all-in-one vibration machines. And actually, we’re not even sure what vibra-oscillating or orbital even means.
But what makes a good oscillating, also known as pivotal, vibration machine? A good strong motor, an effective and safe range of frequencies, a high amplitude, and a good G force. The Noblerex comes in at 2 Horsepower, 7-28 Hz, 14 mm, and up to 4 Gs. 3-in-one vibration machines often times have only a 1.5 Horsepower motor and a 10 mm amplitude. That makes the Noblerex by far a better oscillating whole body vibration machine! (The best under 6-7 thousand dollars too.)
Also, the oscillation motion of the Noblerex follows the natural movement of your body. When you walk, you contract and release the muscles on each side of your body alternatively, just like oscillating/pivotal vibration does. And buyer beware: other vibration types are not nearly as well studied as providing the benefits of whole body vibration and as being safe for your body. Orbital and vibra-oscillating vibrations are still relatively unknown in the whole body vibration exercise field. Traditional and original is still best.
